Two groups of letters from Welsh emigrants to America, 1846-1847, 1870-1878, together with letters relating to emigration from Wales, 1948-1955.

Dau lythyr, 1846-1847, oddi wrth John ac Isaac Cheshire, Racine, Wisconsin, ymfydwyr o Gymru, at eu llystad a'u mam Morris a [Sarah] Davies, Trefonen, sir Amwythig. = Two letters, 1846-1847, from John and Isaac Cheshire, Racine, Wisconsin, Welsh emigrants, to their stepfather and mother, Morris and [Sarah] Davies, Trefonen, Shropshire.
Cynhwysir hefyd dau lythyr oddi wrth y rhoddwyr, y Merched M. A. a C. F. Davies, at Alan Conway, 1955 (ff. 5-6, Saesneg). = Also included are two letters from the donors, the Misses M. A. and C. F. Davies, to Alan Conway, 1955 (ff. 5-6, English).

Letters from Providence, Pennsylvania.

Six holograph letters, 1870-1878, from the brothers Samuel, David and William Morgan, Providence, Pennsylvania, to their family in South Wales (ff. 1-12), along with five letters, 1948-1949, to Charlotte Erickson relating to emigration from Wales, apparently sent in response to an appeal in the Western Mail (ff. 13-19).
Also included is a typescript copy by Erickson, [1949], of a 1925 letter from Alfred A. Jones, Salt Lake City, Utah (f. 18).
