A printed rental survey of the chief rents in the manor of Wentlloog and members, unused except for a few amendments. Chief tenants include Sir Charles Kemeys Tynte (c.1710-1785), the heirs of Morgan Morgan of Llanrumney, Howell Powell, curate of Penteri, and Charles Van. esq.

An undated printed rental survey of the chief rents in the manor of Wentlloog and members, unused except for a few amendments. The volume dates from temp. Sir Charles Kemeys Tynte (c.1710-1785), bart, Hon. Charles Morgan, esq. (1736-1787 and 1760-1806), and Herbert Mackworth, esq., Charles Van, esq.

The left-hand side of each opening of the volume is a printed list of chief rents due to Sir Charles Morgan, lord of the manor at Michaelmas 1795, as settled by `the survey and rental' by Evan Phillips, June 1795. The right-hand side of the opening has a column for the arrears at Michaelmas 1802, and annual columns, 1803-1811, of receipts (?from the farmers) of the chief rents. There is an index to the manors. This volume is a fair copy of MM 3/11.

Pasted to the front fly-leaf is a printed rental (£229-9-6) of the estate late of Hugh Jones, esq., dec. There are two loose papers enclosed, an account of the chief rents in the manors of Wentlloog, Yolton, Welsh Dowles and Ebboth due from Rev. John Lewis to Sir Charles Morgan, 1804, and an account of a fine and heriot in the manor of English Dowles due to Sir Charles Morgan on the death of William Jones of Clytha, esq., dec. MM 3/13 is a fair copy of this account.

A settled account for chief rents in the manors of Wentlloog, Pencarn, Yolton, Cogan Pembroke, English Dowles, Ebboth, Welsh Dowles, Fitz John de la moor, Sutton, Cogan Fleming, Dyffryn, Malpas, Mendelgyf, Redcastle, Hengwrt & Marshfield, Pencarn, and Basaleg. An account for 1779 is pasted inside the front cover, including arrears dating back to 1749. The body of the volume consists of the accounts of Hugh Jones, 1774-1777 (ff.1-5), and Evan Phillips, 1778-1785 (ff.6-16). At the rear of the volume (ff.17-20) are lists of the reeves of the various manors, 1763-1771, in the case of Basaleg, 1740-1776, and the sums due from them. The account was settled between Evan Phillips and Sir Charles Morgan in 1793.
