Settlement prior to the marriage between the said John Morgan and Louisa Burt, by which the said John Morgan grants ...,

  1. John Morgan of Tredegar, co. Mon., esq. 2. Charles Pym Burt of Albemarle Street, p. St James Westminster, Middlesex and Louise Burt, spinster, his daughter. 3. Sir Charles Gould, kt, Judge Advocate General of H. M. Forces, Charles Gould, esq., his only son and heir apparent, Rev. Robert Burt, clerk, rector of Twickenham, Middlesex, and John Burt, second son of the said Charles Pym Burt, esq. Settlement prior to the marriage between the said John Morgan and Louisa Burt, by which the said John Morgan grants to the use of the said Louise, if she should survive him, the annual sum of five hundred pounds, charged upon properties in co. Glam., and another annual sum of two hundred and fifty pounds charged on properties in co. Brec. Right of distraint and entry is reserved to the said Louisa if the said sums are not paid as specified. For the better securing of the said properties charged with the said annual sums, the said John Morgan grants them to the parties of the third part in trust for ninety-nine years. It is also agreed to convey to the said trustees all the proceeds of the properties to which the said Louise is entitled in the island of St Croix in the West Indies, along with other sums of money upon trust to be invested to the use of the said John and Louise and of their heirs.
