Account Book of Thomas Bold (agent to Sir Charles Morgan) respecting the building of a house (the 'New House') and outbuildings at the Castle, Brecon. The house was begun by Captain Rathbone and completed after his decease by Sir Charles Morgan. The book also contains copies of correspondence concerning arbitration with regard to disputed tradesmen" accounts in connection with the building. At the end of the book is a page of accounts relating to Penlan Quarry, 1840-1.
