An account of the Vaughans of Corsygedol,

The manuscript is in two parts. The first contains an English poem entitled 'Faction Display'd', temp. Queen Anne; an account of the Vaughan family of Corsygedol mainly transcribed by Angharad Llwyd, with an original rental of the Corsygedol estate, 1637; a transcript by W. W. E. Wynne of Powell of Ednope's 'Pentarchia' from a manuscript at Brogyntyn, with a letter by the Rev. Robert Williams, Rhydycroesau. The second part comprises a booklet of extracts from a manuscript at Porkington (now Brogyntyn MS 14) in the hand of Lewis Anwyl relating to the families of Anwyl of Park and Owen of Porkington and Clenennau. Peniarth MS 440ii was published by W. W. E. Wynne in Montgomeryshire Collections Vol. IX (1876), pp. 357-64.

Wynne to the editor of the Archaeologia Cambrensis (f. 73), and three letters, dated 7 May - 15 August 1869, from Robert Williams, Rhydycroesau, Oswestry to W. W. E. Wynne concerning the proof-reading of the text (ff. 74-6).

A notebook containing transcripts by W. W. E. Wynne of correspondence, 1642-1655, mainly to and from Sir John Owen, taken from originals at Porkington. The correspondents include Charles I, Princes Rupert and Maurice, Gilbert Byron, John Byron, Robert Corbett (Ynysymaengwyn), H. Mackworth, Thomas Mytton, William Neale, Richard Vaughan and John Williams, archbishop of York. Also included are notes by W. W. E. Wynne on Llanegryn and Llangelynnin churches, Merionethshire (ff. 8 verso-12). 'Historical Letters, &c: Peniarth MS 18 [corrected to] No. 75' on spine; '495' on label pasted on spine.

'Cofnodion Eglwysig a Mynwentol Perthynol i Brif Deuluoedd Lleyn ac Eifionydd. Casgledig gan John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd')', being material similar to, but not identical with, that contained in Gleanings from God's Acre (Pwllheli, 1903). There are one or two insets in the autograph of W. W. E. Wynne, Peniarth and some loose papers in various hands, including an outline of proposals for redressing the inadequacy of Parliamentary representation (late 18th cent.).

Extracts from published sources, lists, notes, etc., relating to various historical and antiquarian subjects, [1656], 1693, [1761], [late 19 cent.]. Original material includes a description, dated 1795, of how the predecessors of the Tanat family were awarded the Broniarth charter in return for the capture of Lord Cobham in 1417; and substantial annotations by W.W.E. Wynne to a list of Caernarfonshire sheriffs, with a covering letter and genealogical enquiry to William Ormsby-Gore, 1832. Also of interest is a roll of casualties in Major Bringhurst 's troop at Waterloo, 1815.
