A transcript by Alfred Neobard Palmer (1847-1915), with annotations by him, of a copy in Chirk Castle of a lampoon relating to Morgan Lloyd (Morgan Llwyd o Wynedd) (1619-1659), Major-General Thomas Mytton (1608-1656) (Halston) and other Parliamentarians. The work was entitled A new Ballad of the Plague wherewith Wrexham in Denbighshire is sorely tormented this year 1647.
