Sarah Roberts of Aberystwyth trust papers,

Deeds and documents relating to Sarah Roberts of Bridge Street, Aberystwyth, widow (d. 10 Dec. 1891), and David Charles Roberts, one of her sons and the surviving trustee of her will. The papers include deeds, leases, letters, insurance policies, inland revenue papers etc., including leases and related papers relating to saw mills and premises in Rofawr, 1890, Glenhurst, South Road, 1897-1959, m's and timber yard in Trefechan, 1906-1948, and Cranbrook House (formerly no. 26, later no. 47), Bridge Street, 1935. Also including lease and release of a dwellinghouse and gardens in Maesglas, Aberystwyth, 1813; copy of the will (dated 1852) of Richard Roberts of Aberystwyth, merchant, proved 1854; Merchant Seamen's Fund pension ticket for a master's widow, granted to Jane Griffiths of Upper Portland Street, Aberystwyth (d. 1886), 1869; Aberystwyth Burial Board grave space certificate of Jane Griffiths of Aberystwyth, widow, 1873; bill of sale by David Richards and James Mills of Liverpool, shipbrokers, to David Jones of Aberystwyth, ship-owner, of two shares in the 'Aberystwith Castle' (1055 tons, built Liverpool, 1875, no. 74485), 1876; probate of the will (dated 1878) of David Jones of Aberystwyth, retired master mariner, 1878, including bequests of twenty shares in the Cardiganshire Bay Steam Packet Co., eight shares in the North & South Wales Banking Co., 4/64th shares in the schooner 'Louisa' of Porthmadog, 32/64th shares in the brigantine 'Rheidol Queen', 2/64th shares in the iron ship 'Aberystwyth Castle', and 4/64th shares in brig 'Kilvey'; conveyance by Sir Pryce Pryce of Gogerddan, bart, and others, to Sarah Roberts of Aberystwyth, widow, of four m's and land in Tal-y-bont, p. Llanfihangel Genau'r-glyn, 1887, enclosing 1853 and 1854 leases of the same; and probate of the will (dated 1888) of Sarah Roberts of Aberystwyth, widow, 1892.
