Roberts, mayor of Aberystwyth, and Arthur Johnson Hughes, town clerk, comprising letters, minutes, rough notes, receipts, subscription lists and a bank book relating to the distress fund for the relief of the families of the crew of the SS Eira. Includes a printed subscription list for the SS Fawn crew relief fund, 1886, and a letter from Ernest Trubshaw of the Western Tin Plate Works Ltd, Llanelli, re. the organisation of the fund, 1899.
