This group consists of papers relating to Menna Gallie's role as a writer and includes drafts of her creative work, drafts of her translations, letters, talks and lectures, radio talks, reviews, articles, notebooks and publishing contracts.

The series consists of drafts of talks given by Menna Gallie to various societies on a number of subjects, [1940]-[1990], such as childhood memories, memories of Ystradgynlais, Creunant and the surrounding area, experiences in Northern Ireland, America and Cambridge, experiences gained whilst in Italy and Yugoslavia, and talks on her own writing.

This file consists of four drafts of a talk under the title 'The Fear of God', [c.1970], which describes Menna Gallie going back home, while she was living in Cambridge, and going to a Gymanfa Ganu.

This file consists of drafts of speeches on life in Cambridge, [c.1979]-[c.1982]. One of the copies includes brief details of life in Keele, Northern Ireland and America before they moved to Cambridge.
