As well as historical figures such as Jean D'Arc it includes Charles Dickens, Edith Cavell, Benito Mussolini, Coquelin Cadet, Roald Amundsen, Italian Kings and more. Some of the more recent figures are depicted in photographic postcards rather than art reproductions.

200 postally unused postcards published by various museums and galleries in Firenze, Florence, Venice, Rome and Vatican City of artworks and sculptures. Many are by well known artists such as Titian and Michelangelo.

Postcard reproductions of Italian artworks in public collections in Italy including Museo Vaticano, Sienna Cathedral Library and Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan. Works by artists such as Goya, Van Dyck, Da Vinci, Tintoretto, Bronzino and Veronese.

Postcards of artworks held in such institutions as Musee de Louvre; Museo Civico, Firenze; Galleria Pitti, Firenze; Museo Poldi-Pezzoli, Milan; Kaiser Friedrich-Museum, Berlin & many others. The majority are from French and Italian galleries. Subjects include portraits, religious scenes, nudes and frescoes.
