Thirteen notebooks, 1951-1973, containing journal entries; letters and postcards, many from relatives, literary agents and the media (relating in particular to her broadcasts on Welsh regional BBC programmes); photographs; ideas for fiction; and press cuttings of book reviews.

Press cuttings,

The series comprises press and other media coverage of Bernice Rubens's career from many countries, including publicity material, reviews of her work, interviews and biographical accounts; press cuttings and drafts of articles, short stories and talks by Rubens herself; together with documents concerning a tour of Australia and New Zealand, and a number of business and personal letters relating to her work.

Press cuttings

The series consists of press cuttings, 1912-1955, many relating to Thomas Jones or consisting of press articles and reviews written by Thomas Jones. Some refer to national and political events. There are also a number of obituaries and press tributes. Some of the later cuttings refer to the political career of Eirene White. There is one folder of press cuttings of reviews of Thomas Jones, Lloyd George (London, 1951).

`A Welsh Causerie'

The series comprises press cuttings relating to Welsh culture, nationalism and language, politics, eminent figures, literature, history, rural crafts, folklore and legends, customs, natural history, scenery, preachers, eisteddfodau and music.

Other press cuttings

The series comprises articles by, or concerning, HFJ, 1889-1962, relating to his work as a lecturer for a Workers' Education class on Welsh literature and history, Yr Aelwyd', and also concerning cultural and political topics, biographies and obituaries, customs folklore and gypsies,A Cymric Causerie' and eisteddfodau.

Cuttings of reviews

This series consists mainly of various cuttings comprising reviews on Strike for a Kingdom, You're Welcome to Ulster, and The Small Mine, [c.1959]-1992. The series also includes an invitation to an exhibition at the Leigh Gallery, Cambridge; a letter with the reviews and another from a friend in America, praising one of her books; two miscellaneous articles; and a radio script for the programme 'The Arts in Ulster' on which The Small Mine was reviewed.

The Guardian articles

The series includes scrapbooks, 1957-1984, loose newspaper cuttings, 1959-1998, typescript and manuscript drafts of the `Country Diary' articles published in The Guardian, 1957-1991, other, miscellaneous press cuttings, correspondence, notes and printed leaflets, 1988-1998. Condry's own titles for the files have been denoted by innverted commas.

The series comprises files of press cuttings, 1990-1995, mainly taken from the Western Mail, relating to Welsh politics, events in Wales and British politics.

The series comprises whole issues, individual pages, scrap books and loose cuttings of newspapers and magazines, 1816-1993, covering the biology of breeding, breed types, care, welfare, training, dog-loving celebrities, showing, clubs, animal photography, dogs and the law, working dogs, terriers, spaniels, anecdotes and a few, non-canine topics.

Press cuttings

The series consists of press cuttings, 1922-1993, taken from national, Welsh and local newspapers. Most of the cuttings are of political interest, many concern the fortunes of the Labour Party and Goronwy Roberts's life and career.
