The series comprises mainly manuscript drafts of music, composed or arranged by W. S. Gwynn Williams, and a number of music manuscripts or photocopies of works by others, 1908-[c. 1953].

The group comprises papers, [c. 1890]-[c. 1924], including talks/lectures, adjudications, musical exercises, material realting to the Tonic Solfa College examinations, and his application, 1895, for the post of Vocal Master at Llangollen, Ruabon and Wrexham Intermediate Schools; together with miscellaneous programmes, including an Eisteddfod programme, 1907, in which he adjudicated.
