Political papers of Baroness Eluned Morgan relating to her work as a Labour member of the House of Lords and a Labour member of the National Assembly for Wales, subsequently the Welsh Parliament.

"How Red Was My Valley" was a 3 part documentary on the history of the Labour Party in Wales to mark its centenary in 2000. It was originally entitled "Though Cowards Flinch", it was directed by Colin Thomas and written and presented by Deian Hopkin. It was broadcast on BBC2 Wales between 14th and 28th October 2000. The files contain correspondence leading the the commissioning of the series, correspondence between the producer, director and presenter, drafts of scripts, the final running order, contracts, details of viewing figures and some background material.

File comprises typed notes from interviews with key Labour Party figures including Alun Michael, Huw Roberts (Special Advisor to Ron Davies), Rhodri Morgan and Peter Hain, discussing devolution and the Labour party in the late 1990s and the issues surrounding the resignation of Ron Davies as Secretary of State for Wales and the appointment of Alun Michael as his replacement and his election as Labour's leader in the National Assembly for Wales.

File contains a letter and ballot paper for members of Labour affiliated union Unite to vote in the Welsh Labour deputy leadership election in 2018, along with a booklet containing candidates' election statements and nominations.
