The adventures of Harry Manners as told by Tom Macdonald. Tom Macdonald read the diaries kept by big game hunter Harry Manners and used them as material for this unpublished novel. It is set in Lourenço Marques in Portugese East Africa [Mozambique] during the Second World War. Drafts no. 56-61 belong to the same version of the novel, and shall be referred to as the 'A' text.
