This series comprises letters written mostly by friends and acquaintances whilst she was in hospital at Hereford, including many letters written to her by the Rev. F. E. Llewellyn Jones. There are three letters relating to her enquiries into the meaning of Welsh place-names with a notable contribution from Prof. Melville Richards, UCNW Bangor, and two letters connected with the research and publication of her article 'Notes Concerning Gypsies'.

The series includes lecture notes relating to Welsh gypsies and Teulu Abram Wood, together with an invitation to HFJ to broadcast on Teulu Abram Wood for the BBC, 1946.
