Papers, 1980-1990 (mostly 1987-1988), including correspondence, leaflets, and newspaper cuttings, relating to the CND national 'Snowball' campaign which started in 1964, especially the non-violent direct action taken by George Crabb and Carole Harwood at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Llanishen, Cardiff, in 1987, and their legal defence; the two were among the first protestors involved in the 'Snowball' campaign to be cleared of attempting to cause criminal damage under the Criminal Damage Act, and their defence set a precedent for other civil disobedience campaigns.
