Verses beginning, 'fwyn gyfeillion glewion glan, gwrandewch fy nghan attolwg, Meddwyl wyf drwy dduw ai rad rhoi cerdd i wlad forganwg'. The first six verses appear to be earlier in date than the remainder, which were originally written in pencil and then written over in ink.

Verses (?tribanau) beginning 'yn yr hen oesoedd diddrwg', written on a sheet of paper which may have formed part of a letter addressed to 'Edwd. William Mason at Flimston near Cowbridge Glamorganshire Southwales'.

'Cywyddau' attributed to Dafydd ap Gwilym, in the autograph of Iolo Morganwg: (a) 'Prydydd i Forfydd f'eurferch'. 'DGm. o lyfr Mr. Richards'. On the back of this is a draft copy of (b); (b) 'Y mun gain hoyw emen goeth'. 'DG (o Lyfr Ieuan Bradford)'.

Verses entitled 'Hanes y wrach drystan, ar y don a elwir mentra gwenn', beginning 'Gwrandewch ar hynod hanes, Clywch i gyd &c'. On the other side are some Welsh words with their meanings.

'Englynion moliant i'r Parchedig Mr Walters Awdur y Geirlyfr Saesonaeg a Chymraeg' by Rice Jones o'r Blaenau (cf. NLW MS 15416, p. 77, for an incomplete copy).

Verses beginning, 'Cunyddion cain addas (?) tir cynyl twr cynas'. At the end is an 'englyn'- 'William Robert ai Cant'. The sheet bears the following address: 'To Mr. John Edwards Att Lanishan to be left att the [?three Cranes] Cardiff these'.

Verses beginning, 'Clywch glod fy Nuwies gynes gain trwy'r de a'r dwyrain dir', endorsed, 'Canu Jaco Turbil' and 'Can Siemsyn Twrbil'. On the dorse are some stanzas from 'Y Gododdin' in the autograph of Iolo Morganwg.

Verses in the autograph of Francis John beginning, 'Through Bushis and Briars as I took my way'. There are three English verses, of which two have been translated into Welsh.

A copy (not in the autograph of Iolo Morganwg) of 'Bugeilgerdd, sef ymddiddan rhwng dau fugail, Gryffydd a Meurig, bob yn ail benill', by Edward Richard. The copy is similar to that contained in No. 36. See also NLW MS 21297E (g).

'Cerdd i anerch Mr. Elixsanders, Curier Pen y Bont. I ofun hên Bar o ysgidiau ir Bardd ynghyd a Deusyf ei Lwyddiant I fyned I America, ar Drom galon', by John Cain Jones, and addressed to Mr. Alexsanders, Curier, Bridgend. ?Holograph.

An account (crossed out) beginning 'Pedair Cadair wrth Gerdd y sydd ynghymru ...'. On the reverse side is a note beginning 'Lleu, lle, or llên, is the same as Gawl, gwawl, and goleu ...', followed by 'I have before observed that the Britons became civilized in those ages when the Roman learning was in its highest perfection and greatest purity ...'. There are also some stanzas of verse (D. ddu Eryri and Cynddelw) and at the bottom of the page a note headed '(Preface)' beginning, 'However I may have been mistaken in some, perhaps in many things, I can assure the reader ... that ...'.

An early reference to the possibility of a National Library in Wales: 'National Library, when founded in Wales will give my MSS to it, with an injunction that permission be given in the library to copy any thing, but not out of it.' (Written on the back of a lottery notice).

A list by E. W. of personal possessions at various places (eg 'Flimston nothing that I can recollect but a bed and a few Tools & 1 Tea cup'). On the reverse side are observations beginning. 'Fe ddarfu i'r Farddoniaeth Gymraeg ... gadw ei thir yn wych rhyfedd hyd ynghylch amser y Brenin Siarlas yr ail ...'.

'Memorandums', chiefly horticultural, eg 'To procure as much larch canes as possible for Mr Johns', 'Red primrose seed for Mrs Johns', and 'To send the cuttings in wet moss directed for T. Johns, Havod Esqr. at.' Mention also of sheep, etc., and 'The price of Alabaster in blocks large enough for columns 9 feet high 18 inches diameter'.
