A manuscript in the autograph of Roger Morris, Coed-y-talwrn containing anecdotes, extracts from the Black Book of Carmarthen ('Amravael bethau a gopiuyd or lyfyr du o gaer Vyrdin'), 'Credo Taliessin o lyvyr aral', proverbial sayings ('Ni uyr ni uyl, ni uyl ni dysc'), lines attributed to Tal Iessin ('Na fid escud dy lau ar lu anudon'), 'Kas bethau guyr Rhufain', one or two triads, two Welsh religious plays (not one as suggested in R.W.M), viz. ['Y Dioddefaint'], pp. 41-73, and 'Traul y 3 brenin i anrhegu Crist' [or 'Y Tri Brenin o Gwlen'], pp .73-80 (see Gwenan Jones, A Study of three Welsh religious plays (Bala, 1939) p. 12 et passim), some pedigrees ('Rhai or Guehelaethau'), 'Araeth Wgon', instructions concerning table manners ('Am voes ac arver yu hynn o ymdidan'), 'Henue 15 luyth Guyned o lyfr Humphre ap hoel o Ruthyn',etc., a Life of Saint Martin in Welsh [cf. Mostyn MS 88], an anecdote concerning Madog ab Owain Gwynedd, 'Henuae Pympthegluyth Guyned ai gulad ai harvau' and a list of Welsh poets.

A manuscript, mainly in the hand of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd), with some parts apparently in other hands, containing an elegy to 'W. Vn o G. y Gedol ... a fy farw ... yn y flwyddyn 1775' by Evans (pp. 1-8), and other poetry by him (pp. 275-308), Thomas Jones (Twm Siôn Cati), Siôn Cent, Edmwnd Prys and others (pp. 1-12, 33-114, 205-218, 247-258, 275-310); extracts from the manuscripts of Robert Vaughan, Hengwrt (pp. 13-32, 119-126, 142-158) and John David Rhys (Siôn Dafydd Rhys) (pp. 139-141); notes relating to Lewis Morris (pp. 115-118); a copy of the charter of Clynnog Fawr (pp. 127-130) (see Monasticon Anglicanum, vol. A manuscript in the hand of Evan Evans, containing mainly poetry by Bleddyn Fardd, Lewis Glyn Cothi, Goronwy Owen and others (ff. 1-49, 56-62); and a list of feast days (ff. 50-55).
This manuscript was used for the Myvyrian Archaiology of Wales, partly for text and partly for variant notes. Peniarth MS 111 seems to be the original of this manuscript. A note on f. 12 states 'Hyd yma ym tyb i yr yscrifennodd Roesser Morys allan or Llyfr Du o Gaer Vyrddin'.

A manuscript entitled 'Llyfr o Venegnieth', being medical recipes copied from a manuscript written in 1608 by John Jones, Gellilyfdy, who had, in turn, copied parts (ff. 20-27) 'o law Roger Morris'.

A manuscript, in the hand of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd), containing 'Cerddwriaeth Simwnt Fychan' (ff. 1-43 verso, first sequence) and the 'Rhetoreg' of William Salesbury, which was originally a translation of a Latin treatise on rhetoric (ff. 1-47, second sequence).
There are copious references to the source materials for both parts, the names mentioned including John Jones, Gellilyfdy, William Maurice and Roger Morris (ff. 1 (first sequence), 46 verso (second sequence)). A note by Ieuan Fardd states that he transcribed these works in 1776 (f. 46 verso). For Simwnt Fychan's 'Cerddwriaeth' see also Peniarth MS 159 and Jesus College MS 9.
