A photostat copy of a letter, [c. 1844], from Maria Jane Williams, Aberpergwm, relating to the introduction to her book has been tipped in on p. 84.

Llawysgrifau cerddorol yn tarddu o blas Llanofer, [1830x1871], yn cynnwys yn bennaf alawon gwerin, rhai gyda geiriau. Cofnodwyd rhai yn llaw Augusta Hall, Arglwyddes Llanofer (ff. 8-13), ac yn eu plith ceir alawon a gyhoeddwyd yng nghyfrol Maria Jane Williams, Ancient and National Airs of Gwent and Morganwg (Llandovery, 1844). = Music manuscripts originating from Llanover, [1830x1871], containing mainly folk tunes, some with words. Some are in the hand of Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover (ff. 8-13), and include tunes which were published in Maria Jane Williams, Ancient and National Airs of Gwent and Morganwg (Llandovery, 1844).
