Welsh Artists Talking (Seren Books, 2000)

Draft and fair-copy texts, with corrections by the interviewees, of interviews conducted by Tony Curtis with the artists involved in the compilation of Curtis's Welsh Artists Talking (Seren Books, 2000) (see, for example: https://www.serenbooks.com/book/welsh-artists-talking), together with correspondence and other material relating to the artists. The artists involved are: Brendan Burns, Ivor Davies, David Garner, Robert Harding, Alfred Janes, Christine Jones, Jonah Jones, David Nash, Terry Setch and Lois Williams.
Also included is material relating to an exhibition of contemporary paintings curated by Tony Curtis entitled 'Ten Welsh Painters', held at the Lewis Elton Gallery, University of Surrey, 18 January - 4 February 1999. Many of the exhibiting artists are included in Curtis's Welsh Painters Talking (Seren Books, 1997 - see under heading Welsh Painters Talking) and in Welsh Artists Talking.
