An essay (33 pp.) on total abstinence entitled 'Traethawd ar y manteision ac anfanteision Llwyrymwrthodiad oddiwrth bob math o wirodydd meddwol o dan arwydd y Rhiban Glas' by 'Eukrateias' (J. Myles Jones, Llansawel). Written at the end are a few miscellaneous englynion, etc., among them being an 'Englyn i Bont ar Llechau, ger Llangadog, sir Gaerfyrddin'.

Notes of evidence on properties in the parishes of Llanybyther, Llansawel, Conwyl Gayo and Talley, Carmarthenshire to be submitted by John Myles Jones to the Royal Commission on Land in Wales and Monmouthshire, together with a holograph copy of a letter, 1894, relating thereto from John Myles Jones, Llansawel to W. Llewelyn Williams, Daily Post Office, Swansea.

Plwyf Talyllychau ... [essay],

An essay (19 pp.) entitled 'Plwyf Talyllychau - &c desgrifiadol - hanesyddol - fonachlog a'i Chloch fawr' by 'Ap Ioan' [J. Myles Jones, saddler, bookseller, etc., Llansawel]. The work was probably submitted for competition at an eisteddfod held at Talyllychau (Talley) in 1891. The prize at this eisteddfod was awarded to Simon M. Jones, Plas, Talyllychau, whose essay was published at Llandeilo in the same year.
