Williams, Llanuwchllyn, the international scene, the date of various meetings), E[van] Phillips, Castellnewydd Emlyn (concerning J. Jno. A notebook, completed 20 October 1873, containing transcripts and extracts, from another manuscript, of sermons and sermon notes by Robert Thomas (1796-1866) of Llidiardau, Merioneth, Calvinistic Methodist preacher and 'character'. Some of the sermons are dated within the period 1823-72 and there are occasional annotations such as 'old', 'see cofiant' [i.e. Owen Jones, Hanes Bywyd Robert Tomos, Llidiardau (Wrexham, 1869)], 'good', 'later', etc. There are references to 'Cyfarfod Bibliau y Bala' (p. 74), 1847, 'Amser gwneyd Bethesda [i.e. Calvinistic Methodist chapel, Blaenau Ffestiniog] (p. 122), and to Cynll[w]yd [in Llanuwchllyn] and to Cwmtirmynach and Penmaen [in Llanfor] (p. 145). At the beginning of the volume is an index of texts which is almost complete.
