Cenarth rental,

An imperfect rental for lands in the parish of Cenarth, Carmarthenshire, being part of the Golden Grove estate, the property of the Duke and Duchess of Bolton. Entries on f. 5v correspond to those on ff. 5v-6 of NLW MS 21798A. Later additions include an entry for rent received, 1775 (inverted text f. 33) and pencil notes of 'Wood Sold', May-October 1773 (inverted text, ff. 1-2v, 12v, 20v-1v).

Rent book for Tyddyn Pendre and Tir y Dre, parish of Cenarth, Carmarthenshire, being part of the estate of the Vaughan family of Golden Grove, containing details of rent paid by the successive tenants, William Melcher and Griffith Thomas, to Charles [Powlett], 3rd duke of Bolton, to John Vaughan of Shenfield, Essex, who inherited the estate in 1752, and to his son Richard Vaughan.
