This volume is one of two (with NLW MS 7570) containing material taken from the private register of the Reverend William Charles (1746-1819), rector of Llanddewi Rhydderch and curate of Llangattock-iuxta-Usk, and comprises transcripts and extracts from the parish registers of Llanddewi Rhydderch, 1777-1819; and 'other parishes', including Goytrey, Llantilio Pertholey, Mamhilad, etc., 1770-1835.
