Papers of W. A. Madocks, including his memoranda books, letters to John Williams (his agent at Portmadoc), 1806-1825, and some materials for his biography in the form of copies of letters from Ebenezer Thomas (`Eben Fardd'), John Thomas, Chwilog, Ellis Owen, Cefnymeusydd, and others; a 'statute book' of the 'Ancient and Renowned Borough of Tremadoc', 1805-1810, with an account of the Tremadoc Ball and Hunt; together with records from the Harbour Office, Porthmadog, including account books and registers of Portmadoc harbour, 1824-1917. An album of about one hundred and fifty autographs of royalty and of distinguished politicians, public men, and clergy, mainly of the nineteenth century, and mainly collected by Colonel John Lloyd Wynne, Coed Coch, Abergele. A group of submissions from the War Office to Queen Victoria relating to the Royal Anglesey Militia, 1867; the Denbighshire Regiment of Yeomanry Cavalry, 1876; the militia regiments of Denbighshire and Merioneth, 1876; the militia regiments of Radnorshire and Brecknockshire, 1876; the Royal Carnarvon Regiment of Militia, 1876; the Royal Cardigan (Rifle) Militia, 1877; the Royal Anglesey (Light Infantry) Militia and the Royal Anglesey Engineers Militia, 1877; etc. All the submissions carry notes of approval in the hand of theQueen. Also included in the group are a schedule of establishments of Welsh militia regiments [c. 1867], and an explanatory memorandum, 1867, by J[onathan] Peel, secretary at war, touching the wish of the lords lieutenant of the Welsh counties to return to the old system of independent corps.

Luke, Rome (with an English translation, and an explanatory note by Anne Ffoulkes, his grand-daughter), order of ceremonial of the consecration of the Rev.
