Dylan Thomas letter to Charles Fisher

Letter, 14 June 1939, from Dylan Thomas, Laugharne, to the poet and writer Charles Fisher, arranging to meet and referring to a new poem, his baby son, Llewelyn, and a forthcoming broadcast with Keidrych Rhys.

An autograph letter, [1978], from Llewelyn Thomas to Daniel and Irene Jones, together with two postcards, 1998, from him addressed to Jeff Towns. Also included are press cuttings relating to Llewelyn Thomas, [1962]-2001; a copy of the Harvard University magazine, Gadfly, containing an article by him, 'Religion in Harvard', with related papers, 1959; and a xerox copy of his article published in the Australian newspaper, The Nation (October, 1971), 'On the impossibility of remembering father'.

Letters, [1954x1958] and 1980-2004, from Aeronwy Thomas; among the recipients are Daniel and Irene Jones, Jeff Towns, Gilbert Bennett, and Llewelyn Thomas (copy). Also included are press cuttings, 1970-2007, relating to Aeronwy Thomas.

D. J. and Florence Thomas,

Holograph letter, dated 31 December 1941, by Dylan Thomas to his parents D. J. and Florence Thomas, written in black ink on lined paper (ff. 1r-3r) and sent from Chiswick, thanking them for the Christmas presents; writing from London, he refers to the time spent in Oxford with Alan and Margaret Taylor over the Christmas holiday, the urgency to find somewhere for Caitlin and Llewelyn to stay near the capital, his recent work on short information films and a radio script, a visit from Vernon Watkins, and a poem published in Lilliput. The envelope is postmarked January 1942.
