Correspondence, notes, catalogues and press cuttings relating to two paintings by Anthony Devis that were purchased by Winifred Coombe Tennant and lent to the Glynn Vivian Gallery in 1934, and subsequently exhibited at Preston in 1937.

There are references to a tribute evening to Glyn Jones, 1995 (ff. 2-6), and a memorial exhibition for David Bell, 1960 (ff. 102-104).
