Archive of the Cambrian Coast Line Action Group comprising papers created and collected during the campaign to prevent the closure of the Cambrian Coast railway line between machynlleth and Pwllheli and to improve services an the line along with the archive of the Welsh Railways Action Group, formed in 1971 to co-ordinate between various railway campaigns in wales and to campaign for improvements to the Welsh railway network as a whole and papers and publications relating to local rail campaign groups in west Wales, along the Heart of Wales line and in the Wrexham area.

Papers relating to the campaign for a Welsh Language Act in the 1980s including; copies of ministerial statements, Parliamentary questions, notes on a draft Act sponsored by Dafydd Wigley MP and Lord Gwilym Prys-Davies, correspondence, press releases, papers prepared by Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg and Urdd Gobaith Cymru, examples of a lack of Welsh language services available to the public, the status of Welsh in the Education Reform Act 1988, minutes and agendas of Gweithgor Deddf Newydd yr Iaith Gymraeg (New Welsh Language Act Working Group), statistical information, correspondence regarding the effect of the Race Relations Act on the provision of services in Welsh and a copy of a memorandum on the workings of the Welsh Language Act 1967 on the use of Welsh in the criminal justice system prepared by the National Council for Civil Liberties.
