Correspondence, 1976-1978 and 1985, between John Jenkins, a member of staff at Llandovery College, and editor of the school journal during the 1970s, and the Rev. T. H. Ward Hill, former master at the school and editor of the journal, 1924-1948, together with notes and an article by Rev. Hill for the centenary edition of the School Journal in 1977. The file includes an endowment deed for the Thomas Phillips Foundation at Llandovery, dated 25 August 1847.

Brinley Jones while compiling his book Floreat Landubriense: celebrating a century and a half of education at Llandovery College (Llandovery, 1998), including a scrapbook, 1948-1958, bearing the name of Canon G. O. Williams, Warden, 1948-1957, relating mainly to the Llandovery College Centenary Celebrations held in 1949, including letters written to congratulate him on the success of the events, and cuttings concerning his appointment as Warden in 1948; memories, 1899-1948, of the Reverend Canon T. Walker Thomas, a former Warden, and Esther Poole-Hughes, 1915-1928, daughter of the Reverend Canon W. W. Poole Hughes, a former Warden, used for the section 'Voices from within' in the book; notes by Dr R. Brinley Jones taken from The Llandovery School Journal, 1886-1976; and photocopies from this journal and other Welsh periodicals relating to key figures in its history
