Willm Jones, Llangadfan, to Mr Wm Owen, Bloomsbury, London,

Willm Jones, Llangadfan, to Mr Wm Owen, No. 17 Great Russel Street, Bloomsbury, London, per Mr Gr. Griffiths. He is of opinion that it is improper, if not impracticable, to engage a number of people to emigrate before a regular plan is settled for their removal. Pattern of an address to the American Ambassador. He has not been informed whether Edd Williams is gone on his intended errand; he hears that the Spaniards have kidnapped Bowles.

William Williams, Merthyr, to Taliesin Williams,

William Williams, Merthyr, to Mr Taliesin Williams, Merthyr. He never had a bill from the addressee until this morning, neither did the addressee ever mention anything to him about the notice required, otherwise the writer would have given him notice every quarter (relating to taking his son from school). He (WW) has an inherent aversion to everything that tends to oblige him to act contrary to his own will.

William Williams to Taliesin Williams,

William Williams to Mr Taliesin Williams. The paper which TW sent by the writer's son last night is addressed to him by EW, therefore no other person has a right to keep it but himself. However if the addressee will either pay the remainder of the money due for printing Estlin's Catecism tomorrow or send him a note by William mentioning the time it will be convenient for him to pay, he will immediately return the paper although the addressee's father addressed it to him.

William Thomas, Jamaica, to Taliesyn Williams, Neath,

Wm Thomas, Phillipsfield, St Thos in the east, Jamaica, to Mr Taliesyn Williams, Neath. Having promised to write to the addressee's father on arrival in Jamaica he addresses this to TW as his father may not be at home. Since he arrived he has met a gentleman, a neighbour of Mr and Mrs Duncan, to whom he put some questions to know if it was possible to find any(one) who would purchase everything belonging to the heir-at-law of the late Miles, Thomas, and John Williams subject to the reversion of Mrs Williams (now Mrs Duncan) and other legacies by will made in favour of legatees therein mentioned. This gentleman informed him that he would himself offer, provided arrangement could be made to that effect through a person qualified with full powers to act as their representatives in this Island. The need for the addressee immediately to take some specific steps with some person or persons in this country (Jamaica). Ere long the writer will be in the neighbourhood of Walter Pollock, the acting executor of Miles, and he will have some conversation with Mr P. On no account would the writer undertake the business by himself.

William Rees, Llanover, to Taliesin Williams,

Willm Rees, Llanover, to Mr Taliesin Williams. Mr W. H. Black of the Public Records Service, who intends being at Cardiff at the end of this week for the purpose of inspecting the Records, would be most happy to afford the addressee an opportunity of looking over them at the same time, as he presumes it might be serviceable towards forwarding the addressee's County History. The Canwyll y Cymry. Edeyrn Dafawd Aur's Grammar. He is requested by Lady Hall to enquire whether, after the addressee has made his selection for the Society, he could bring those MSS to Llanover to be inspected by Mr Price.

William Rees, Llandovery, to Taliesin Williams, Ab Iolo,

Willm Rees, Llandovery, to Mr Taliesin Williams, Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydvil. Mr Price sent the addressee a suggestion about altering the note on Glastonbury, but the writer presumes that he has spurned that in the same manner as the suggestions respecting Arthur. Asking for more copy - he fears the addressee is much mistaken if he supposes that he (W. R.) will not be able to overtake him, as the addressee will be pressed hard to bring the work out in the specified time, otherwise the Society will be completely ruined.
