Fel y nodir yn rhagarweiniad y gyfrol, serch ei ymroddiad maith a di-flino i'r gwaith o adnewyddu ac ail-godi'r capel, ni fu D. S. Owen fyw i weld ffrwyth ei lafur. = Printed volume titled 'Dathliad Agor Capel Newydd Eglwys Jewin 1774-1961', comprising the order of service to celebrate the reopening of Jewin Chapel following its destruction during the Second World War Blitz of 1940. As noted in the volume's introduction, despite his long and tireless dedication to the restoration work, D. S. Owen did not live to see the results of his labours.

Nerys Owen, donor of the collection, has noted that the pencil annotations within the volume are those of her father, Percy E. Owen (1915-1995), son of D. S. Owen.
