A volume containing a collection of letters, 1855-1876, in Welsh and English, from Welsh notabilities of the 19th century. Two letters are from the papers of Dr Thomas Rees (1815-1885) and were presented by Mr John Griffiths of Swansea, while the remainder were purchased from Mr W. H. Roberts of London and were addressed to members of his family; also included is a description of the letters by W. H. Roberts.
A volume containing accounts, various data and sermons relating to Mynydd Bach Chapel, Llangyfelach, the greater part of the manuscript consisting of sermons in the hand of the Reverend John Davies of Llansamlet.
A volume containing a collection of transcripts of Welsh poetry from the British Museum and Peniarth collections made by Howel W. Lloyd (1816-1893), many of the poems having been printed in the History of Powys Fadog by J. Y. W. Lloyd, 1881-1887; the writer has added collations to some of the poems and has contributed many historical notes.
A volume entitled Assize, containing particulars of the weight of the various priced loaves of bread to be sold in the borough of Carmarthen for various periods from 1809 to 1836, the weight of each loaf seeming to have been regulated by the price of wheat per bushel; each form is signed by the mayor of the borough for that time.
A manuscript, in Welsh, apparently transcribed by Richard Thomas from the Red Book of Hergest, or a transcript of it. Pp. 7-95 correspond to pp. 100-136 of Vol. I of the R. B. Texts, Oxford, 1887 and pp. 117-137 correspond to pp. 1-11 of Vol. I of the same.

A number of loose sheets containing transcripts of Welsh poetry in the hand of Howel William Lloyd of Rhagatt (1816-1893), with translations; the transcripts were undertaken for the Chevalier Lloyd of Clochfaen and many of them, both originals and translations, were printed in the History of Powys Fadog. Also included is a transcript of a part of the manuscript of Y Marchog Crwydrad which was once in the possession of H. W. Lloyd (now Llanstephan MS 178).

A manuscript, written from both ends, containing a large number of englynion and cywyddau, the first fifty-two pages being in the hand of Robert Parry (p. 19); also included are various extracts, pedigrees, diary notes, etc.

A collection of elegies, in Welsh, by and in the hand of Rhys Cain (d. 1614), after 1588. Inserted into the collection is a cywydd (p. 115) by Gruffydd ap Ieuan ap Llewelyn Fychan in the hand of Thomas ap Wiliam of Trefriw, and a cywydd (p. 119) by and in the hand of Huw Machno, 1601.
An interesting collection of Welsh poetry, mostly second half 17 cent., much of which is not found elsewhere. The work, most of which was written 1650-1660, appears to be in the hand of Robert Lloyd, although pp. 109-134 are in an earlier hand and it is also possible that some of the poems (either p. 152 or p. 195) are in the hand of Edward Morris of Perthillwydion; the writing is in places very indistinct. Also included (p. 107) is a copy of a bond dated 30 January 1656 and medical recipes (p. 155).

A manuscript containing miscellaneous poetry in different hands, the earlier part c. 1710-1720; englynion and fragments of verse have been scribbled in the blank margins of the volume throughout. The manuscript also contains various extracts, notes, etc. Pagination is incorrect (see under Nifer Dail).
A printed Flora (Latin-English) entitled 'The Lady's and Gentleman's Botanical Pocket Book adapted to Withering's Arrangement of British Plants. Intended to facilitate and promote the Study of Indigenous Botany' by William Mayor, LL.D. (London). The owner of the book was John Morris, gardener, Bron Derw, Llanrwst, who added in his hand the Welsh names of the plants in the book.
An envelope containing extracts from a letter from a gentleman in America to a friend in Wales, 1773 (pp. 1-4), from Charlevoix's Journal (p. 5) and from Dr Davies's dictionary (pp. 7-8).
A catalogue of the Reverend Thomas Price's (Carnhuanawc's) Library bought by Sir Thomas Phillipps. It consisted of 1,281 lots, besides the Gododin and other manuscripts.
A 16th century miscellaneous collection, in Latin and English, of historical prophecies in verse and prose attributed to Merlin, Thomas of Erceldoune and others; the text begins on p. 14 and ends on p. 72, with many blank leaves.
