Affidavit of William Jones of Dolgelley, co. Mer., gent., in the bankruptcy of John Evans, Joseph Jones, and William Davies, founders of the Aberystwith and Tregaron Bank. Attached are two banknotes for £1 each (Sept. and Nov. 1813) referred to in the above deposition, together with two further notes (May 1813 and Jan. 1814), the one for £1 and the other for £2, referred to in an apparently similar deposition by one William Williams. Attached to the banknotes is a slip of paper marked 'Hugh Jones Esq. Dolgelley'.
