A book of psalm-tunes and anthems compiled by Lewis Lewis, Gogerddan, 1805, containing works by Thomas Williams, Llanbadarn Fawr, Richard Thomas, D[avid] Harri[e]s, Edward Jones, John Williams [Dolgellau] and J[ohn] Ellis.

The tune book of John Roberts, Llanegryn, 1826, and later of Bontdolgadfan, containing anthems, hymn-tunes and psalm-tunes by John Roberts, Pantyniwl, John Williams, Abermawddach, H[ugh] Jones, Maesglasau, W. Williams, Llanegryn, John Edwards, Llangadog, the Reverend Richard Phillips, Bala, John Roberts, Llanbrynmair and others; and a hymn for use in Sunday Schools ('Yn ysgol bur fy Nuw').

Tune book compiled, 1842-1844, by Thomas Evans, Glawnant, Abertridwr, Glamorgan, containing hymn-tunes and anthems.

A composite volume, [1836x1887], belonging to Richard Owen Edwards, Penderlwyngoch, Gwnnws, Cardiganshire, comprising two printed volumes of sacred music by his brother, the Rev. John David Edwards, entitled Original sacred music, composed and arranged by the Rev. John David Edwards, B.A., Curate of Aberdovey ... (Printed by H. Humphreys, Castle Square, Carnarvon, [?1843]), and Original sacred music, composed and arranged by the Revd. John Edwards B.A., Jesus College, Oxford ... ([London, ?1836]); and a number of hymn tunes, some composed by J. D. Edwards, apparently in the autograph of Richard Owen Edwards.

Tune-book, [post 1851], of Thomas Edwards of Leech Castle, [Bonvilston], in the Vale of Glamorgan, containing mainly hymn tunes. Thomas Edwards appeared to have been a deacon of Zoar CM Chapel, Llancarfan/Bonvilston.

A secular tune book, undated, but watermarked 1828, and probably compiled during the second quarter of the nineteenth century. The tunes are largely unaccompanied by words, and some are marches, dance tunes and hornpipes, suggestive of instrumental use. Bass parts to some songs are included (e.g. pp. 136-140). Many of the tunes (which are indexed on pp. i-v) are of non-Welsh origin, such as Auld Lang Syne (pp. 1, 57, 78-79), The Hungarian March (p. 23), Duke of York's Cotillion (p. 24), Heart of Oak (p. 33), The Cuckoo (p. 35), Rule Britannia (pp. 36-37, 94), Downfall of Paris (p. 82) and The Huntsman Chorus (p. 90). The large number of Welsh tunes included suggest a Welsh origin, although non-traditional in background; where recorded, words are in English. Glan medd-dod mwyn is ascribed on p. 142 to 'J. Thomas [?Pentuwylo]'.

Three music books bought by Isaac Williams 'of Mr. Parry, Relieving Officer, Dolgellau, Sept. 1903' and bound together into a single volume. They contain hymn-tunes, anthems and psalm-tunes, mainly by John Williams, Dolgellau, with a few tunes by R[ichard] Mills ['Rhydderch Hael'], one by I. R. Ellis, Dolgellau, 1841, and traditional and anonymous tunes; a poem entitled 'Amgylchiadau Marwolaeth Crist', an 'englyn' ('Y Farchnad Ysprydol'), 'englynion' by 'Shion Rhydderch', three hymns ('Mae'r gwaed a redodd ar y Groes', 7 stanzas, and 'Wrth edrych ar y sail', 4 stanzas, 'Ni'm diystyrir gan fy Nuw', 1 stanza), and a recipe for a cough.
