Also appeals for subscriptions to church restoration funds for Llanwrda, Martletwy and Llanfyrnach, Lamphrey vicarage, and augmenting the benefice at Llangynllo. Also a personal appeal from the missioner at Troedrhiwfuwch, co. Mon., an anonymous letter about the feeling against the Conservatives at Haverfordwest, and Sir Charles Philipp's optician's prescription.
