Thomas Evans (Tomos Glyn Cothi) (1764-1833) has entered what appears to be a list of money gifts at a so-called bidding in Carmarthenshire, possibly on the occasion of his own marriage.

The monasteries, churches, and castles are arranged alphabetically under counties, and particulars are given of the dates of foundation, of the situation of the monastic houses, and of the orders to which they belonged. The List of Monastic Cartularies was drawn up by Sir Thomas Phillipps, Bt., and is printed in Collectanea Topographica et Genealogica, Vol. I, 1834. The volume also includes a 'List of monastic churches still made use of for Divine Service' taken from The Gentleman's Magazine, 1814.
