An abstract of an application, dated 8th February, 40 Elizabeth [i.e. 1598], to the Court of Star Chamber for a writ of sub-poena to cause Ednovet [Ednyfed] Gruffith [Griffith], a justice of the peace for Merioneth, Jevan ap John Gitto and others to appear to answer to various accusations enumerated by Morgan Jones of Gray's Inn.
