Llyfr Crogeniddon,

A collection of astrological notes and tables (pp. 40-145), written c. 1711 (p. 41) in an unidentified hand, and also containing a calendar of static and moveable (pp. 2-32, 33-39) fairs. Astrological tables on vellum have been used as pastedowns at the beginning and at the end of the volume (pp. 1 & 180), and a similar table on paper, lacking its volvelle, is on p. 121. Personal memoranda relating to the family of Thomas Davies of Crogeniddon, Denbs., c. 1713-1752, have been added on pp. 53-54, 79, 146-179.

Alawon gwerin,

A collection of popular tunes, in the hand of Maurice Edwards, dated 1776 (p. 31) and 1778 (p. iii). The tunes, most of which bear Welsh titles, were possibly noted for use on the harp.

Manuscript, 1795, of William Williams of Llandygái (1738-1817), containing his novel in prose and verse entitled 'Hanes Ifan o'r Cyffredin Glâs'; for text see Dafydd Glyn Jones in Llên Cymru, 20 (1997), 75-107. For copy, possibly in the hand of Edmund Hughes Williams, the son of William Williams, see Bangor MS 868.

Cardigan (p. 119), Lewis Richard(s), 1774 (pp. 132, 150, 153) and Lewis Richard Lewis, 1788-1793 (pp. 129, 167). The volume also bears the signature of John Thomas, Broncastellan, Penrhyn-coch, 1767-1788, on pp. 129, 165.

Diary of William Bulkeley,

Diary of William Bulkeley (1691-1760), of Brynddu, p. Llanfechell, Anglesey, 30 March 1734 - 8 June 1743 (pp. B1-557). The manuscript also contains Latin memoranda (pp. A1-54), notes in English relating to proceedings at the Anglesey Quarter Sessions, 1718-1728 (pp. A55-112), and an account of the offerings received by the parson of Llanfechell, 1735-1736 (pp. B561-563). A note on p. B557 refers to another diary, 'a parchment covered folio begining June 9th 1743', the present whereabouts of which is unknown. Bulkeley's diary for 1747-1760 is now Henblas A 19.

Wiliam, in his ‘Y Canu Mawl i Deulu Penrhos ac i Deuluoedd eraill y Fro’ (Bodedern, 2001), pp. 9-11, describes it as an eulogy, 1703, to Siôn and Marged Owen of Penrhos, by John Prichard Prys (fl. c. 1704-1721).
