Quarterly Report ending 20 December 1895, by D. Pritchard, Fishery Officer, for the area from Porthdinllaen to Llwyngwril, reporting an improvement in catches by the deep sea trawlers from Pwllheli but the smaller ones have not done so well, being old and leaky. There have also been as many as eighteen Hoylake boats in Pwllheli at one time. He has difficulty getting out in a boat during the winter months, and notes that the mesh of many trawl nets is small.

Pritchard to R[andal] Casson, stating that the vessel 'Comet' has been transferred from Liverpool to the Isle of Man.
