An eisteddfod essay by William Thomas ('Gwilym Mai') entitled 'Hanes y Cyhoeddiadau Misol Cymraeg o'u dechreuad ...', with the adjudication upon it by Thomas Price ('Carnhuanawc'). This essay was printed in Seren Gomer, March and April 1857.
