A small volume entitled 'Cell-gasgl Sion Lleyn, 1805', containing 'englynion' (chiefly epitaphs), stanzas in free metre including hymn stanzas, and one or two longer poems (e.g. 'Awdl ar Dosturi 1809' and 'Pillion i Dwm or Nant herwydd ei Lyfr, sef Ban y Byd - Creglais o Groglofft &c, 1809, Ebrill 27') by and in the autograph of John Roberts ('Sion Lleyn'). Other poets represented are Griffth Williams('Guttun Peris'), W. Elias and O[wen] Griffith. There is also a list of unfamiliar Welsh words ('Geiriau Cymraeg dieithrol yn amlwg'), with the following note: 'Hyn a gymerwyd o gasgliadau Thos Prys Esqur, Plas Iolun, a D. Ddu a S. Lleyn'. On p. 58 is the note 'Mai 11. 1812 Priodais' [see Cwrtmawr MS 510, p. 106].

A volume written almost entirely in the autograph of John Roberts ('Siôn Lleyn'; 1749-1817) containing poetry largely of his own composition, with some items by other poets. The volume is in two sections and there is a list of contents at the beginning covering pp. 1-145 in the first section. The wording on the title-page is 'Trysorfa yr Awen sef Casgliad o Ganiadau, Sion Lleyn, 1787,' but some of the items are of later date. The other poets represented are David Thomas ('Dafydd Ddu o'r Eryri'), Robert Prich[ar]d (Robert Prichiard Sion,'Robin'r Aber'), T[h]om[a]s Edward[s] Nant, D. Edward, Lewis Morys, John Hughes ('pandy bach pentre ucha yn Lleyn'), Richard Powel, Evan Owens, Glan-yllynnay (Llanystumdwy), MrEfan Efans ('Bardd hir') [Ieuan Brydydd Hir], Evan Rich[ar]d (Bryncroes), [David Jones] Dafydd Sion Pierce ('Dafydd Brydydd hir'), Dafydd ap Sion, Owen Griffith, Hugh Lloed [sic] Cynfal, Goronwy Owen(s) ('Goronwy Ddu o Fôn'), Edmund Prys and Griffith Philip. One or two items (p. 2 in the first section and pp. 142-5 at the end of the volume) appear to be in the autograph of John Thomas ('Siôn Wyn o Eifion'). One 'cywydd' in the volume (p. 118 in the first section) is headed 'Annerch Ieuan Bryncroes i Sion Lleyn wedi dyfod i ymweled a mi i Chappel Rhyd-y-Clafrdy pryd yr oeddwn yno yn cadw ysgol y fln 1791 y mis Medi' . The volume contains some notes in the autograph of John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd'), press cuttings and also a copy (printed) of Marwnad, neu Goffadwriaeth y Brawd Robert Roberts, o Sir Gaernarfon : yr hwn a ymadawodd â'r Byd hwn Tachwedd 28, 1802. Yn llawn 40 mlwydd Oed : wedi bod yn pregethu'r Efengyl 15 mlynedd. 8 pp. (Caernarfon : Argraphwyd gan T. Roberts, n.d.) by S. Lleyn. On p. 4 in the second section are 'Trioedd y Crinwas neu'r Cybydd'.

A volume (212 pp., several of which are blank) originally intended for use as a ledger, written in several hands and containing accounts, 1766-8 (webs, rye, butter, barley, etc. [?Dolgellau district, with references to Penllyn and Trawsfynydd]); a few medical recipes; stanzas of verse beginning 'Gwrando' nghariad ar fy nghwynion ...' (incomplete); the first twelve stanzas of a poem written by John Williams, St Athan, after the expulsion of Peter Williams, 1791 (cf. the printed version, 1793, of 'Can diddarfod'); a weaver's patterns; a copy of part of a herbal, Aneth - Pren Bocs (cf. Llysieulyfr Meddyginiaethol a briodolir i William Salesbury, ed. E. Stanton Roberts (Liverpool: Hugh Evans & Sons. 1916), p. 249; accounts, 1829-30, headed 'Account of the Factory's work from the 12 of Novr. 1829'; part of a treatise in Welsh on physiognomy (?possibly a translation as it contains quotations in English verse); and verses by Cadwalader Thomas and 'englynion' by Evan Elis 'I Factory Cefnddwysarn a adeiladwyd yn un cyntaf yn mhenllyn'. At the reverse end are notes in Welsh on the theory of music and a draft (in pencil) of the will of John Cadwalader of Tyllwyd in the parish of Llan D...., Merioneth, 1823, etc. Among loose papers are two bills (one mutilated), 1830, to Ebenezer Williams, Cefnddwysarn for spinning, etc.

A composite volume lettered on the spine 'Llenorion Lleyn ac Eifionydd' and described in the old typewritten handlist of Cwrtmawr Manuscripts as 'Llyfr Cywyddau etc. R. Llys Padrig. etc. fol.' The first part is in an early nineteenth century hand or hands (watermarks 1803 and 1804) and contains a list of sheriffs for Caernarvonshire to 1796; a list of arms; and 'cywyddau', etc. by Rhisiart Cynwal, Gruffydd Phylip, Sion Dafydd Las o Nanau, Owen Gruffydd, Lewis Menai, Ieuan Tew, Sion Tudur, Sion Phylip, Edmwnd Prys, Ieuan Llwyd, Gruffydd Hafren and Watcin Clywedog. The remainder of the manuscript (from p. 56 to the end) is almost entirely of later date and is written in the autograph of John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') and others; this section includes 'cywyddau', 'englynion', etc. by some of the poets already mentioned and by Ffoulk Wyn 'yn enw Owen Madryn y Crwner', Owain Waed Da, W[illiam] Llyn, Evan ap Tudur Penllyn, Howel ap Feinallt, Morys ap Ifan ap Einion o Lyn, Owain ap Llewelyn ap y Moel, Gruffydd Grug, Dafydd Llwyd ap Llywelyn ap Gruffydd o Fathafarn, Robin y prydydd bach, Huw Pennant, Sion Cain, Iolo Goch, Sion Brwynog (incomplete), Huw Llyn, Syr Dafydd Trefor, Ieuan ap Madog ap Dafydd, Tudur Penllyn, [Lewis Môn] (beginning only), Hugh ap Risiart ap Dd, Morys Dwyfech, Cadwaladr Gruffydd, Gruffydd Bodwrdda, Rowland Hugh, Lewis Glynn, Dafydd Namor [sic] o blwy Beddgelert, Howel Ceiriog, Wiliam Cynwal, D. A composite volume largely in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') containing pedigrees (John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') has marked some items, e.g. Llwynhelyg, Cwningaer, Robert ab Gwilym Ddu, John Wynn Morris of Wmwlch & Tyddyn Mawr); lines of verse (?incomplete) beginning 'My friend and I, on one autumnal morn ...' containing a reference to visiting John Thomas ('Siôn Wyn o Eifion'); the beginning of a translation of 'Awdl Elusengarwch' (Dewi Wyn [o Eifion]) under the title 'Charity'; a copy of a letter, 1854, from Ebenezer Thomas to the Reverend M. Rice Morgan, Pengwern, near Swansea (a claim for postage expenses in connection with the Treforys Eisteddfod); 'Englynion Wrth ganfod Eben Fardd. A volume containing about ninety letters, 1840-63, from the Reverend Morris Williams ('Nicander'), writing from Bangor, Amlwch and Llanrhyddlad, to Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'), with a draft copy of one letter, 1850, from 'Eben Fardd' to 'Nicander'. A few of the letters have been printed in Adgof Uwch Ahghof. Also in the volume are a letter, 1865, from 'Nicander' to an unnamed correspondent and two letters, 1868, one incomplete, from 'Nicander' to [Richard Roberts] 'Bardd Treflys'. At the end of the volume are three letters, 1862, from Eunice Jones (Liverpool), daughter of Peter Jones ('Pedr Fardd'), writing from Clifton and Llanrhyddlad Rectory, to 'Eben Fardd' (enquiring about the connection between her father's family on his mother's side and the Wynnes of Glyn Llifon; 'englynion' by 'Pedr Fardd'). Pasted into the volume near the beginning is a cutting containing a letter, 1849, from M. Williams, ['Nicander'], Amlwch to John James ('Ioan Meirion'); there is also a loose cutting of a photograph of 'Nicander'.

A small volume containing Welsh poetry by and in the autograph of Richard Williams, blacksmith, Tremadog, Caernarvonshire (d. 1851). A note by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') on the fly-leaves reads 'Gwaith a llawysgrifen Richard Williams, tad [Richard Williams] Beuno a [John Williams] Ioan Madog, yw yr Ysgriflyfr hwn.' The contents include 'Awdl Goffadwriaeth am W.A. Madocks yswain ...' another 'awdl' described by Myrddin Fardd as 'Awdl Marwnad Dewi Deudraeth', and 'Cywydd Marwnad Humphrey Jones Gesal Gyfarch.'.

A composite volume containing poetical compositions by Hugh Evans ('Hugh Eryri') [or 'Hywel Eryri': cf. Cwrt-mawr MS 466B], some dated 1826-8 (26 pp., repaired, incomplete); transcripts in various hands of poetry by [Thomas Williams] 'Twm Pedrog' (torn) and of a cywydd by Dafydd Nanmor; 'Duhuddiant i Eben Fardd a'i deulu ar farwolaeth ei eneth ieuangaf - Elizabeth, Medi - 1858' by [Robert Hughes] 'Robyn Wyn' (?holograph); transcripts of poetical compositions by [Evan Pritchard] 'Ieuan Llyn' or 'Ieuan ap Rhisiart'; part of an exercise-book bearing the names of R. Prys Morris, Dolgelley and Myrddin Fardd, Chwilog; and fragments including pedigrees of Bod Ilan (Llanvihangel y Pennant), Y Plas yngheiswyn (Talyllyn), Ynys y Maengwyn ynhowyn Meirionydd and Pughe of Mathafarn, taken from Lewis Dwnn.

A manuscript.volume (28 ff.) containing poetical compositions ('englynion', 'penillion', hymns and carols, etc.) almost entirely by Hugh Evans ('Hywel Eryri' or 'Hugh Eryri' [?1764-1847]), some dated 1827-8 and 1842-3. It seems doubtful whether the volume is in his autograph as an englyn at the end by Morris Roberts, Melin Llanllyfni, dated 22 June 1847, is headed 'Englyn a gyfansoddwyd ar yr achlysur gladdu yr oedranus Fardd "Hywel Eryri".' A page or pages are missing at both the beginning and the end of the volume.

A composite volume containing poetical compositions in strict and free metre by, and in the autograph of, Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'). The wording on the title-page of the first part of the volume is 'Cyfansoddion Barddonol gan Ebenezer Thomas, Clynnog. 1843' but some of the items in the section are later than this date. The remainder of the manuscript appears to consist of two other sections, the one containing miscellaneous poems, some dated, c. 1833-60, the other containing 'Y Cleopiad', 1847, and a number of 'englynion'. Alterations and interlineations have been made in some of the poems. Besides the Welsh poems - many of which, though not all, are included in Gweithiau Barddonol, &c. Eben Fardd [?1873] - the volume contains a few items of English verse. There are also one or two printed items, including a sheet of harvest hymns entitled 'Hymnau Cynauaf' by Ebenezer Thomas, 1843 (Caernarfon: Argraffwyd gan James Rees).

A volume consisting of a notebook which belonged originally to Robert Roberts, Ty mawr, Treflys [Caernarvonshire], 1775, containing mensuration tables, etc. and miscellaneous accounts, c. 1790-1815, mainly in Welsh, by Robert Roberts and one or more of his brothers. Over some of the pages and on additional leaves inserted at the beginning have been pasted cuttings of 'englynion' and other compositions mainly by Richard Roberts ('Bardd Treflys'; 1818-76); there are also some holograph items by Richard Roberts and transcripts by Ellis Owen, Cefn-y-meysydd and by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd'). The contents include 'Cywydd am fenthig Lanter Mawrth 20 1844' and 'Cân y Palm oil', both by Richard Roberts ('Bardd Treflys').

A manuscript volume entitled 'Y Gell Gymmysg; sef, Casgliad o Amrywion Ganiadau, Gan Y Parch. Roger B: Clough, Periglor Corwen: Parchwr a Choleddwr- y [sic] Iaith Gymraeg a'i Barddoniaeth' containing 'Englynion i'r Gell Gymmysg a'i Pherchenog' by Robt. Davies, Nantglyn, Y Parch. Roger B. Clough, Morgan Davies, (?) Nannau, Peter Lloyd, Gwnodl, Thomas Edwards, Corwen and Thomas Jones, Corwen; a series of 182 'Pennillion' [i.e. 'Hen Benillion']; a few 'Beddargraffiadau' and 'englynion' or other items of verse, some dated, by various poets including the following: Robert Davies, Nantglyn, Lewis Morris, Edward Evans, Gwyddelwern, Hugh Moris, Griffith James, John Roberts, Hersedd, Morus ap Robert o'r Bala, [John Jones] 'Ioan Tegid', Y Parchedig Walter Davies, Y Parchedig Roger B. Clough, John Jones, Glan y Gors, Thomas Gwynedd, William Edwards, Ysgeifiog, John Owen, Holywell and Griffith Williams, 'Gutyn Perys' [sic]. The volume is probably in the autograph of the Reverend Roger Butler Clough (1759-1833), vicar of Corwen from 1811 until his death. There are a number of blank folios after p. 68 but on the final page are four lines of verse described as being 'on a window at the White Horse Inn Holyw[ell]'.

A composite volume of poetry in strict and free metre by various poets including Mabclaf ab Llywarch, Aneirin Gwawdrwydd [sic], Evan Evans ('Ieuan Brydydd Hir'), [Robert Williams] 'Robert ab Gwilym Ddu', [David Owen] 'Dewi Wyn', [Griffith Williams] 'Gyttun Peris', [Richard Jones] 'Gwyndaf Eryri', [William Edwards] 'Gwilym Padarn', [Owen Williams] 'Owain Gwyrfai', [Evan Prichard] 'Ieuan Lleyn', [David Thomas] 'D[afydd] Ddu o Eryri', John Davies and Michael Prichard. The contents also include a list headed 'The Names of some of the most Ancient Bards and Historians and the Time wherein [sic] they Flourished'. The lettering on the spine reads 'Llyfr Ieuan Lleyn, 1799' and the volume, except for the last five folios, appears to have been written between 1799 and 1822. The last four folios are partly in the hand of D. Silvan Evans and the folio immediately preceding them is probably earlier in date than 1799 and may belong to Cwrtmawr MS 513B, Part II.

A composite volume in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') containing (?)essays or addresses (prefaced 'Sketches & Stories') on 'Nodweddiad Cenedlaethol', 'Darllenyddiaeth', etc., with a 'Hir a Thoddaid' beginning 'Wyneb y Genedl o hen Baganiaeth', (?) an adjudication on 'Darlleniaeth', with verses entitled 'Darlleniaeth yr Ysgrythyr', a translation into English by Bl. ab C. of six lines from Eben Fardd's 'Dinystr Jerusalem', a notebook bearing on the cover the words 'Dechreu yr ysgol yn yr Eglwys', containing memoranda, accounts, etc., 1824-9, relating mainly to Clynnog school, 1827-8 (names of scholars), with some earlier references to Llangybi and Llanarmon, a list of poems by Goronwy Owen with the year of their composition, and a copy of the protest presented to Lord Mostyn following the awarding of the chair prize at the Rhuddlan Eisteddfod, 1850, for a 'pryddest' instead of an 'awdl', with a copy of Lord Mostyn's reply.
