'Y Fronfraith, sef caniadau ar wahanol destynau gan John Lewis (Ioan ap L.) Llanrhystyd' - a collection of lyrics and other poems by John Lewis, 1857-1860.

A manuscript volume entitled 'Y Gell Gymmysg; sef, Casgliad o Amrywion Ganiadau, Gan Y Parch. Roger B: Clough, Periglor Corwen: Parchwr a Choleddwr- y [sic] Iaith Gymraeg a'i Barddoniaeth' containing 'Englynion i'r Gell Gymmysg a'i Pherchenog' by Robt. Davies, Nantglyn, Y Parch. Roger B. Clough, Morgan Davies, (?) Nannau, Peter Lloyd, Gwnodl, Thomas Edwards, Corwen and Thomas Jones, Corwen; a series of 182 'Pennillion' [i.e. 'Hen Benillion']; a few 'Beddargraffiadau' and 'englynion' or other items of verse, some dated, by various poets including the following: Robert Davies, Nantglyn, Lewis Morris, Edward Evans, Gwyddelwern, Hugh Moris, Griffith James, John Roberts, Hersedd, Morus ap Robert o'r Bala, [John Jones] 'Ioan Tegid', Y Parchedig Walter Davies, Y Parchedig Roger B. Clough, John Jones, Glan y Gors, Thomas Gwynedd, William Edwards, Ysgeifiog, John Owen, Holywell and Griffith Williams, 'Gutyn Perys' [sic]. The volume is probably in the autograph of the Reverend Roger Butler Clough (1759-1833), vicar of Corwen from 1811 until his death. There are a number of blank folios after p. 68 but on the final page are four lines of verse described as being 'on a window at the White Horse Inn Holyw[ell]'.

Williams, Dolwyddelen, concerning sub-letting, 1844, William Lloyd, near Llanrwst, soliciting charity towards a voyage to America, 1845, 'Cymdeithas Gwyr a Llangciau Glanau Lledr', Dolyddelen, on behalf of their Band, 1845, Robert Hughes, Trefriw, concerning a trial for ore in Trefriw, 1846, Jane Jones, soliciting relief to cure cancer, 1848, A. J., Llanrwst, petitioning for a Gwydyr's Pension, 1849, Wynnstay tenants in the township of Maenan, parish of Eglwys fach, soliciting an annual subscription towards the salary of a schoolmaster, 1849, etc., etc.). Inset are verses on the death of Evan Evans ('Ieuan Brydydd Hir') by the Rev. R. Williams, Fron, near Bala, 1790, a 'cywydd' by 'Ieuan Brydydd Hir' ('Af fal Merddin Ddewinwr'), and tables of commercial stamp duties, 1841.

A holograph copy, [1936], of a poem entitled 'Yn Eden Ardd' by Robert Arthur Griffith (Elphin). The poem was originally composed in 1897.

A notebook bearing the name of John Peter ('Ioan Pedr'), 'Bala, Rag. [sic] 1869' containing poetry by him, chiefly 'englynion', under the title 'Yr Eiliadau', some items dated, 1868-74. Only a small part of the volume (17 pp.) has been used.

Two volumes entitled 'Hen Gofion. Yr Ysgrepan neu Wyau Nythau Nathan', being a collection of autobiographical and other material compiled by Nathan Dyfed. The volumes include, in addition to the autobiographical material, notes and reminiscences relating to Glamorgan, its people and customs, a vocabulary of the Dyfed dialect, notes on 'eisteddfodau' mainly in Glamorgan, 1831-1888, an account of friendly societies in the Merthyr Tydfil district, poetry by Nathan Dyfed and others, a copy of Gwallteriana: sef y traethawd buddugol gan ... Walter Davies ... ar ansoddau gwahanol ddosbarthau barddonol Caerfyrddin a Morganwg ... Cyfieithiedig gan Jonathan Reynolds ... (Treherbert, 1879), etc.

A manuscript.volume (28 ff.) containing poetical compositions ('englynion', 'penillion', hymns and carols, etc.) almost entirely by Hugh Evans ('Hywel Eryri' or 'Hugh Eryri' [?1764-1847]), some dated 1827-8 and 1842-3. It seems doubtful whether the volume is in his autograph as an englyn at the end by Morris Roberts, Melin Llanllyfni, dated 22 June 1847, is headed 'Englyn a gyfansoddwyd ar yr achlysur gladdu yr oedranus Fardd "Hywel Eryri".' A page or pages are missing at both the beginning and the end of the volume.

A 'pryddest' and 'englynion' submitted for competition at an eisteddfod at Ystradgynlais in 1888 at which Watcyn Wyn was adjudicator, together with an essay entitled 'Amgylchiadau Presenol yr Iwerddon'.
