A notebook, 1900-1914, containing accounts relating to the transport and distribution of lime from Crosswood station, co. Card., together with other miscellaneous accounts; a printed list of subscribers towards a testimonial presented to Dr. Hughes, Llanilar, 31 August 1901; and receipts, 1936-1938, for rents due for Lisburne House and Hendre Rhys, part of the Earl of Lisburne's Crosswood estate.

Four scrapbooks, compiled [1900]-[1910], containing press cuttings and letters, [1869], 1893-1910, relating to the political career of A. Osmond Williams, MP, and to his son Lieut. Osmond T. D. Williams.
The scrapbooks were evidently compiled by a member of A. Osmond Williams' family, probably his sister Alice or his mother Annie; with a few exceptions the cuttings are dated no later than early 1904, coinciding with Annie's death in June of that year.

Autograph notes of William Retlaw Williams towards the compilation of his The Parliamentary History of the County of Hereford (Brecknock, 1896), including notes on Herefordshire parliaments from the early thirteenth century through to the nineteenth century.
Loose in an envelope are two letters, 1896 and 1901, from Williams to Frances Christina Baldwyn-Childe of Kyle Park, Worcestershire; a postcard showing Brinfield Court, Herefordshire, which was burnt down in August 1925; press cuttings, 1887, from the Hereford Times; and a printed advertisement for William Retlaw Williams, The Parliamentary History of Worcestershire (Hereford, 1897). These loose items were found in a copy of Williams's The Parliamentary History of the County of Hereford which at one time belonged to Frances Christina Baldwyn-Childe, and were transferred from the Department of Printed Books at NLW in 1980.

A photocopy of a setting for voice and harp by Osian Ellis of an elegy, in 'cywydd' metre, by Huw Machno, written at the death of Bishop William Morgan in 1604; together with copies of typescript notes on the setting by the composer, a translation of the words into English by Dr R Geraint Gruffydd, a covering letter, 1988, from Osian Ellis to Dr Brynley F Roberts and the Order of Service to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the translation of the Bible into Welsh at Westminster Abbey, 1 November 1988, when the setting was performed. A cassette of a recording of the setting is available in the NLW Audio-Visual Unit.
