A commonplace book which belonged to the Reverend Dr. William Davies of Froodvale [Ffrwd-y-fâl, parish of Cynwyl Gaeo, co. Carmarthen] in 1857, which passed to the Reverend Dr. David Lloyd, Classical Professor and Principal at the Presbyterian College, Carmarthen, whose widow presented it to George Eyre Evans.
