Forty six diaries of Noelle Davies 1921-79, containing mainly personal and domestic matters but including numerous references to the Pantybeiliau Folk-School 1933-5 (71/4-6) [cf. no.98], to visits to Pantybeiliau by Saunders Lewis, J E Daniel, J E Jones, etc., and to writing books, articles, etc., and to her involvement with various Irish societies after her return to Ireland in 1957 [cf.e.g. no. 111]. No.71/47 contains extracts by Noelle Davies from these diaries and from other personal papers almost certainly in preparation for her unpublished typescript, 'D.J. Davies : Some Memories of Our Life Together' [cf. Annual Report 1970-71, p.36].
