A lease of a house and garden in town of Pool to John Beck, esq., 1818 (Parcel D28/75/4) listed as being part of this parcel in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)is no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

The manor comprised ten townships: Cowarch, Pennant, Mallwyd, Llanerchfyda, Cerrist, Maesglassery, Cwmcewydd, Gartheiniog, Camlan, Dugoed. Courts were held 'at the court house' in Dinas Mawddwy.

Court leet of the borough of Pool,

The records of the court comprise proceedings, 1655-1819, estreats, 1663-1846, and alienation fee accounts, 1811-1834. The leet courts were generally held at the Guild or Town Hall except Easter 1766-Michaelmas 1779, when it was held either at the Royal Oak or the Castle Inn, and in Easter and Michaelmas 1798 'at the Record Office' in the town of Pool.
