[Bute] St, Docks, Cardiff

View of a busy, animated commercial street with many premises visible. The presence of Edward Roberts, stationer and Donald Maclean & Handcock, Solicitors locates the photo as having been taken at the junction of Bute Street and James Street, Cardiff Docks.

[Tubular Bridge Chepstow]

Looking upstream towards the tubular railway bridge at Chepstow built by Brunel in 1852. The river at this point represents the border between England and Wales, Wales being on the left hand side.
