Notebook labelled 'LG at Churt', kept while Gareth Jones worked as a researcher in the employ of David Lloyd George, based mainly at his Churt home. It contains notes on the economy, war debts, disarmament, and the stock exchange. It also contains notes on contemporary developments in Germany. There are also entries on visitors to Lloyd George at Churt and their comments there.

A volume of mounted cuttings from The Cardiff and Merthyr Guardian, 31 August - 28 December, 1861, together with copious manuscript additions and corrections, containing a 'Diary of my second Continental Tour', undertaken by D. J. E. from B[ristol] between 9 June and 4 August, 1860. The tour comprised parts of France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Foreign travels

The file is composed of correspondence and papers deriving from various trips abroad, among them Germany, 1929, a tour of the United States of America, 1958, Hungary, 1972, India, 1972, and the United States, 1986. The correspondence relating to Eirene Jones's visit to Germany in 1929 includes letters exchanged between her and her father Dr Thomas Jones.
