[Two Sergeants]

Studio portraits of two moustachioed sergeants in greatcoats and peaked caps. On the right is a sergeant in the Royal Engineers, the other the Army Veterinary Corps.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Two civilians and three soldiers]

Studio portrait of two male civilians standing behind three seated soldiers. Two of the soldiers are Royal Welsh Fusiliers, the third from an unidentified regiment. One of the fusiliers has two wound stripes and a marksman's skill at arms badge on his sleeve. The soldier from an unidentified regiment has three overseas service chevrons on his sleeve. These were created in December 1917, therefore the photo dates from 1918 or later.

[Three Soldiers]

Studio portrait of three soldiers in the Pembroke Yeomanry, all with bandoliers. This has the appearance of a pre WW1 portrait of local Territorial soldiers.

[Three soldiers]

Studio portrait of three soldiers from - left to right - Machine Gun Corps, Royal Field Artillery, Royal Garrison Artillery. The latter two are identifiable by their shoulder titles.

[Three Generations]

Studio portrait of a postman and two soldiers. The elderly postman is seated in the centre of the photo flanked by the two younger men. Pinned to his chest is a seven pointed star surmounted by a crown, reminiscent of the Imperial Service Order. Below this are six good conduct stripes. Behind him on his right hand side is a middle-aged Sergeant in the Pembroke Yeomanry. On the postman's left is a younger man serving in the Welsh Regiment.

Thomas, Gader House.

A couple, both in military uniform. He, presumably Mr Thomas, wears the polar bear divisional patch of the 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division. His shoulder title ends with 'M.E.' She, presumably Mrs Thomas, has what maybe a circular cloth recognition patch on her left breast pocket.
