A volume containing poetry, mostly in Welsh, by William Edwards ('Cynlaisfab', d. 1920s), Glantawe, Ystradgynlais, co. Brecon, and afterwards of Blaengwynfi, co. Glamorgan, composed 1869-1920 and including poems entered for competition at local eisteddfodau. An index to the poems is included on the front and back covers and end-papers.
A collection of holograph poems and press cuttings of prose and verse by Robert Isaac Jones ('Alltud Eifion'), with some autobiographical data. The volume is described by the compiler as his second book - 'Ail Lyfr Barddoniaeth Alltud Eifion' - and was begun in 1874.
Literary compositions submitted for competition at the Crown Eisteddfod held at Llanarth, Cardiganshire, on 29 July, 1875, viz. 'Can o Glod i R. L. Lloyd, Nantgwyllt, fel Tirfeddianwr', translations into English of a portion of the 'awdl' 'Molawd Ynys Prydain' by David Owen ('Dewi Wyn o Eifion'), and prose translations into Welsh of a portion of Act III, Scene 2, of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, Prince of Denmark; together with adjudications by William Thomas ('Gwilym Marles'), Llandysul.
